The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle shifted into neutral independently, and the vehicle came to a complete stop in the road. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact also stated the electrical functions on the console was inoperable. The contact was unable to shift the vehicle into gear. The contact stated that during the failure there was a message which stated to turn off and restart the vehicle, while the vehicle was still being driven. The contact drove the vehicle home safely and then had the vehicle towed to a local dealer.  The vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
