Honda always said that the recalls do not include my car. Recalls should be expanded to include mine since the car is un drivable at the Honda service center. WHAT HAPPENED: Alarm went off on car in driveway. Horn constantly going off. Smoke came out around steering wheel and inside the vehicle filled with smoke. All lights came on dash. Gears were locked up and had to manually put in neutral to get on tow truck. Car is at Honda dealership in cumming GA. Said I needed steering wheel cable, srs unit, safety restraints unit, & brake boosters. They put parts on. Did same thing to them as it did in my driveway. Horn & smoke & all!! Now they say it needs steering wheel & the harness is on back order until August 28! and that my vin # is NOT on the recall but I believe it should be. This car could have caused a fire and was parked beside my house. My family and I were at risk and almost called police and fire department. Newborn baby, & other family members inside the home. Family members disconnected the battery because horn was so loud. All these repairs are headed towards $9000 & this is insane. This is my only vehicle.
