Repair shop replaced both batteries and about a week later the check engine light came on for about 2 minutes then went off so I chalked it up to the battery replacement. It didn’t come back on again until about 3 weeks later when I started feeling a slip when going in to second gear. When I got home after having that issue I noticed a small collection of what looked to me like transmission fluid  on my garage floor so I had the car towed to the repair shop again. They informed me that engine oil was mixing with coolant due to a bad oil cooler. Between that diagnosis and my car completely breaking down and cracking my engine block the car was driven a total of 14 miles at the most. There was never any other signs prior to me taking it to the shop that the oil cooler had gone bad and even when they replaced the batteries no codes came up for the bad oil cooler and nobody noticed anything while working in the area. . Since then I have learned that this has been an ongoing issue with the wrangler since at least 2012 models and there has been several class action suits that were settled out of court I’m assuming so they don’t have to spend the money recalling and repairing every affected vehicle and finding a fix for future models. Meanwhile I have only had my car for 2 years as of last week and now am being charged $15000 $8000 of which I have to pay up front to even find out how long the parts needed will be on back order. Could be a week could be a year. Not to mention that I have no car to drive and a car payment to make while I wait.  This needs to be fixed as these cars are overheating out of nowhere and shutting down when it does. It’s a safety issue as well as a consumer issue.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2020","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"WRANGLER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
