While driving normally, the transmission unexpectedly shifted into first gear, RPMs flared, the transmission light comes on and the vehicle remains in limp mode. Turning off the vehicle and turning it back on does not resolve the issue, vehicle remained in limp mode and would not shift out of 1st gear.   I had the vehicle towed to a Ford Dealer to diagnose the issue and it was a the CDF clutch drum that had failed. This is a discovered weak part of the transmission in 2017-2022 trucks and the only option is to replace the transmission.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
