At first it was an intermittent jerking but on or about XXX it was happening more often. I took my vehicle in that day to get the oil changed and mentioned the problem to the manager at the shop. When the mechanic did a scanned diagnostic test on it he said it was a fuel pump problem and he recommended I get the fuel pump replaced. The shop completed the fuel pump replacement on XXX but when I picked up the vehicle it was still jerking. I called the shop when I got home and conveyed that the problem still existed. I took the vehicle back to the shop on XXX and after sharing this information with the manager and mechanic: [XXX] the manager called me back later in the day and said the error codes from the YouTube video I shared with them surprisingly show up on the next diagnostic scan! I picked up my vehicle that afternoon but couldn’t speak to either one of them because they left before I arrived. They asked me to wait an hour before picking up the vehicle so “the fluid could thicken up”! I have since emailed the manager about them guaranteeing their work because they misdiagnosed the problem. I paid approximately $1125 to replace the fuel pump and my CVT transmission went out when I was driving home after picking up the vehicle on XXX.I have about 142K+ miles on the vehicle. I get my oil changed when directed but have dealt with an oil leak in the past and had an electrical problem about six months ago.
