Kona Dr Dew purchased July 9, 2025 for mainly city commuting had its bottom bracket fail in under a year. The shop called MegaExo BBs notoriously bad and said the Kona crank interface is prone to BB issues, but refused warranty because it treated the BB as a consumable despite a stated 2-year parts warranty on new Konas in the EU.
