The high voltage battery failed to charge, power surges and power drops while on highway plus burning smell. Charger stopped charging and gave warning light. No one was able to replicate so I was forced to take vehicle back. I am in [XXX] and asked if this could be the issue. No one could verify or give me advice. Having done my own investigations I see high temperatures can affect and cause thermal fires. The manufacturer is not taking this seriously and also dealers in [XXX] where it is excessively over recommended temperatures to charge should be making owners of these vehicles aware or don’t sell them in the state. I have been treated appallingly from everyone trying to ensure my safety. Although I was lucky there was no serious incident I believe this will happen. Furthermore with the fires in EV or hybrids, why if excessive heat is an issue, are the fires not being investigated as to where and what states. I thought NHTSA was there to protect and provide safety information for manufacturers to follow. I am being left to drive a vehicle in which me my family and others are being put in danger. Post 68C recall, the vehicle performance in all electric mode is greatly diminished. At lower speeds, and electric motor exertion, the vehicle will rapidly and violently switch to combustion power going from 0-3500 rpm’s with no engine warming cycle. Additionally, at 50% battery charge and below, the vehicle can fail to accelerate at all, experiencing a near dead gas pedal, which can be seriously unsafe when attempting to merge or turn into traffic. Based on my experience, these symptoms are exacerbated by warm temperatures, which may be indicative of the manufacturer changing battery temperature thresholds to protect a still defective battery. This vehicle no longer performs as it was advertised and sold to perform following multiple recalls for the same issue. This needs to be resolved once and for all, as it has become a much less safe vehicle to drive as it will switch from ICE to electric unpredictably, causing either rapid, unexpected acceleration or a dead pedal from a stop. Please hold the manufacturer accountable

Every recall they have done on our Jeep regarding the battery has diminished the performance of our Jeep. Now in electric mode , you never know what you are going to get. Sometimes it has decent power and other times it lags and does nothing. Really scary when you are trying to merge. When it is in hybrid mode, the engine kicks on at what seems like full throttle which is not safe either. When we bought it new, neither of these were problems. I want it back to what I originally bought which felt way more safe to drive. I don’t even want my [XXX] and [XXX] kids to drive it because of how unpredictable it is to drive. My vehicles check engine light came on in the morning when starting the vehicle. It was a solid check engine light not flashing. I proceede to drive the vehicle and while pressing the accelerator the vehicle does not move. the engine done not connect immediatly, this is a hybrid vehicle so it attempts to use both the electrical and gas motors. The engin begins to rev very high and then after somewhere between 5-10 secounds of no power the vechicle jumps forward with the gas engine connecting. I attempt to put the vehicle into gas only mode, but this also does not work as this setting is turned off along with the electrical only mode. Other interior electronics are not working either. When attempting to drive to my local auto parts store to find out the codes for the check engine the vehicle shut off the gas engine preventing the vehicle from accelerating. Then seemingly randomly the engine will kick on and lurch the vehicle forward and then stop and turn off the gas engine again. The safty of myself and other are at risk because of the uncontrolable acceleration or loss of power randomly while driving. The problem has now been reproducable for multiple days. I have reported it to my dealership Bloomington Chrystler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram. And was told they do not have any appointments available and I should wait and should be safe to continue driving. Upon getting the codes from the auto parts store obd2 scanner I received 4 counts of the P0BEE code and 1 count of the P1ABC code. I informed my dealership of this and they told me that I should continue to drive it until my appointment and that they can assess it then. In the mean time I have lost power in the middle of intersections while attempting to drive through. I have lurched forward into crosswalks with pedestrians attempting to cross the street at stop signs and have lost power on streets when slowing down causing the vehicle to be unable to restart until coming to a complete stop and restarting.

The contact owns a 2023 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 MPH, there was a loud explosion on the passenger’s side of the vehicle. The contact discovered that the exterior passenger’s side glass mirror had suddenly shattered. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that no object had impacted the vehicle to cause the failure. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer and manufacturer were not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 11,000.

I was driving on Octuber 8th 2025. At 50 mph and the car made a sudden hard brake stop, and the brake orage light came on, the light that only turns on when it detect a car or something in front of the vehicle, the thing is nothing was in front of the vehicle, I am lucky that I didn't have cars behind me if not it would have cause a read end accident. This is very dangerous and I am super scared to drive the car now.

My crv is roasting a problem related to the steering (guide/steering wheel) to what many call Hardened Steering: The steering wheel becomes rigid intermittently, making maneuvers difficult

While driving my 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid at approximately 40-45 mph, the vehicle began hesitating and not accelerating smoothly. A Check Engine/Emissions System warning also appeared. The vehicle had approximately 31,873 miles. I took the vehicle to an authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis. The dealer recommended replacement of all fuel injectors and the spark plugs. The vehicle has not yet been repaired and the components remain available for inspection. I am concerned about the safety risk because the hesitation/loss of smooth power occurs while the vehicle is being driven and could affect the ability to accelerate normally in traffic. Honda has issued Service Bulletin 25-044 applicable to 2023-2024 CR-V Hybrid vehicles concerning leaking fuel injectors that can cause an excessively rich air/fuel mixture, foul spark plugs, illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp, and cause drivability problems. The repair procedure can include replacement of the fuel injectors and affected spark plugs. My vehicle has very low mileage for this type of fuel-system failure. I am reporting this incident so NHTSA can evaluate whether similar fuel injector failures and resulting drivability problems in 2023-2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles represent a broader safety defect.

ABS/Brake system malfunctioned causing accident on Freeway. Was traveling in number 1 lane on Freeway in an area where it usually slows down, I had 3-4 car lengths gap between me and the person in front of me. Traffic started slowing down to about 25-35 mph I maintained a 2-3 car length gap, Traffic let off there brakes and I coasted traveling at roughly 25-35 mph for a couple seconds, then the I noticed the vehicles in front of me slamming on there brakes so I did too except my braking system failed, I'm suspecting the abs system malfunctioned. 25mph with a 3 car gap in a brand new car with less than 5,000 miles with brand new tires should have had no problem stopping in time. My old volvo could have stopped in time on an ice rink. Camry brakes are pretty grabby during normal driving which makes it hard to brake smoothly so it has to be some type of computer glitch which caused the problem.

Unknown, but from what I do know is the airbags deployed for no reason. My friend was just driving and they deployed causing her injury and forcing her to crash into a parked car putting her in the hospital

I am filing a complaint regarding the quality of cars manufactured by Toyota, which I believe poses a risk to drivers' lives. I recently bought a new 2023 Toyota Camry LE AWD from a dealer in Kansas Throughout my life, I have driven numerous cars, but I have never felt as unsafe and fearful as each time I drive this car and feel I don't know whether I will be able to return home safely or not. This situation has led me to believe that Toyota prioritizes profit over people's safety. Here are all the issues I have encountered: ISSUE 1: Vehicle Stability 1. The primary issue I am encountering is the car's tendency to skid when driving above 60 mph, despite keeping the VSC turned on at all times. It becomes challenging to maintain a straight path as the vehicle tends to slip. 2. Through my research on Google, I discovered that Toyota has issued numerous recalls for 2022 models due to VSC/ESC software glitches.I am uncertain whether the problems with my car are a result of a VSC/ESC software glitch or if there is a fault with the any other mechanical system. ISSUE 2: Very High WIND Noise 1. When driving above 40 mph, I experience excessive wind noise inside the car, which creates the sensation of a severe windstorm. This noise is quite loud while driving and causing a feeling of fear and it will damage my ear if I drive with high wind noise for long time. ISSUE 3 : Fraudulent Dealer 1. After facing above mentioned two issues, I took the car to the same dealer but instead of conducting a thorough diagnosis, a technician simply drove the car locally for a few minutes and hastily concluded that "everything is fine." ISSUE 4 : TOYTA IS NOT RESPONDING I have sent 3 emails to the CEO of Toyota-US and Toyota Japan. However, I have not received any replies from either of them. This lack of response from top-level executives suggests that either Toyota is aware of the problems but wants to hide them, or they are unwilling to take responsibility for the safety of their cars.

The lock/unlocking of the car doors no longer functions. When pressing unlock on the key or door, the doors do not unlock. When pressing lock on the key or door, the doors do not lock. The only way into the vehicle is using the physical key to unlock the door. The bigger issue is when driving, the door is not locked when the car is in motion, and the door can be opened if a child or person slightly pulls the handle. The components have not been inspected and there have been no warning lights.

Im using full self driving (fsd) and it scans the lot and chose to pull into an empty spot half way in and reverse almost smacking a car in the rear. It didnt appear it was gonna stop even though the car was showing on the screen. I do have the dash cam from where i had to step on the break for it to disengage.

I have a group of individuals that are hacking all of my accounts and trying to steal my car. They first hacked my emails then my Tesla account and now they are actually on the Teslas computer system and have been in the vehicle accessing the screen. After they hacked the system and stopped updates the car started having a bunch of safety concerns and alerts.The breaks were not working and the vehicle would freely roll when full pressure was applied. The collision system in the car was not working properly. Thinking it was possibly going to be hit by another car it would avoid nothing and jerk me out of the lane and nothing was around at all potentially causing an accident. Then the collision system stopped working all together. The steering system would not communicate properly with the system and kept requesting to be reconfigured with the system. The power train system kept throwing alerts. The tire pressure sensors stopped working and will not retrain now. They keep stopping the software updates now and have an IT admin portal device management program on the system and have complete control of the car’s system. Recently they were checking into enrolling in to fleet developer API to interact with the vehicle at code level. I have tried everything to get them off the account and they live at my apartment building. They are using illegal hacking tools and devices to gain access spyware and malware on all my devices.Tesla has done little to nothing to fix this problem and reports have been made. This is a major safety concern.

Steering becomes very stiff or notchy where you have to pull it out of position or correct it constantly. Doesn't want to return to center! When you stop it returns to normal feeling then as soon as you get up to speed it becomes stiff again.

Bought a 2023 Tesla model 3 from Carvawna on aug 30th drove car steering wheel was shaking at 70 mph or more; took to tire shop 3 tire were bad and unsafe,tires were worn below 3/32nds in the center, 2 tires foam was detached and broke tire sensor 4th tire was barley legal cannot believe vehical passed 150 inspection; silver rock only paid 1300,00 bill was 1714.00 left me with 396.00 out of pocket tires were very bad should never be sold Carvawna refuses to reimburse me for out of pocket completely unaccepticl from a car sales company pls help will try to send copy of repair order they would only pay for what they can buy for and were not ev rated

On July 3rd I was driving on the highway, and the Jeep went into limp mode. When it ran out of the electric charge, it didn’t switch over to the gas engine and became un-drivable. I brought it to a Jeep service center and they kept it until July 7th. They were not able to figure out why that happened, but obviously it is part of the recall.

Following 2nd battery recall, acceleration, especially with the electric on, is sluggish and then suddenly electric fails and gas engine kicks in with a lurch. Electric no longer has the power it did prior to the recall and this provides uncertain acceleration for entering freeway from onramps or during other periods of needed acceleration.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 24V111000 (Visibility), and 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds with Hybrid Mode activated, the vehicle shuddered abnormally. While attempting to defrost the front windshield, the defroster took longer than normal to defrost the windshield. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

I am reporting a safety-related electrical failure involving the heated steering wheel system in a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. While driving, the heated steering wheel malfunctioned and produced smoke from the steering wheel area. This created an immediate safety concern due to the presence of smoke and the potential for electrical overheating or fire in a critical driver control component. This was not an isolated incident. The same system required a prior repair under warranty in late 2023. Despite that repair, the failure recurred in late 2025 with more severe symptoms, including overheating and damage to electrical components. The vehicle was taken out of service for repair, and the total time out of service related to this issue was approximately 115 days due to parts delays and repair time. The problem was confirmed and repaired by authorized dealerships, including replacement of the steering wheel and related electrical components. There were no meaningful warning indicators prior to the failure. The issue occurred during normal operations. The repeated failure of the same system, combined with smoke and electrical malfunction in the steering wheel, raises concern about a potential defect that could pose a safety risk to drivers and passengers.

No injuries were sustained, and no medical attention was required. The contact also stated that the air bags did not deploy during the incident. The contact was also unaware whether any warning was illuminated during the time of the incident. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a body shop, where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13,000. The VIN was not available.

In February 2025 with around 56k miles, started noticing a vibration which I thought was a wheel balancing issue. After having the wheels balanced multiple times. I also replaced the tires twice but the vibration still persists. I started noticing the vibration became more consistent at low speeds 20-23 mph. At this time I am now out of engine warranty. It felt like a bad torque converter, which this vehicle doesn’t have. I brought the vehicle to three different dealerships and they all said the car has no issues. At no point did the car throw a check engine light or code. About five days after visiting the last dealership in October 2025 I was headed to work. Once the engine kicks in there was a loud rattling noise coming from the engine for about 5 seconds then it went away. Now every time the car sits, the first time the engine kicks in is rattles for a few seconds. At no point there were any check engine lights. I took the car back to the dealership and the determined that the injectors and head gasket failed. Not having a check engine light coming on for this issue could have caused an accident if the engine stalled on the highway. Honda would not assist in anyway.

Car completely shut down with every warning light going off. Before 95,000 the head gasket blew with zero warning signs! All the warning lamps came on only the day the car totally stopped working. No prior warning or signs before.

My car is experiencing a failure of the shutter grill motor. It’s a motor that opens and closes the shutters to let air through a cooling radiator. The car is not getting hot. The shutters are fully open. I assume this is an energy efficiency mechanism. However: Since the motor is not working, and the shutters cannot adjust properly, the car is derating my power. THIS IS DANGEROUS. I cannot climb mountains on the interstate at proper speeds. I have also almost had a few wrecks trying to pull into traffic due to loss of power, thus acceleration. The computer is choosing to derate my power and acceleration, but it isn’t necessary. I would like to fix the issue, but it is expensive and I don’t have the money. Why would Honda punish me with dangerous conditions for my inability to pay for a fix on an energy efficiency issue!?!?

The windshield wipers go wayyyyy to slow for heavy rain. I live in Florida so the rain is basically unpredictable. The wipers on the highest setting possible is medium to light speed to other cars. It is very dangerous in rain at all. I don’t feel safe driving in any kind of rain with how slow the wipers are because of the almost no visibility of the road. There are many others that I have reached out that are having the same issue and have been for years. Please get this recalled and fixed!! Let’s keep people safer when driving in the rain.

Excess vibration when braking, I took the car into the Toyota dealership they inspected the vehicle and said the front rotors are warped. The presumed cause are the brakes overheating. I drive this vehicle 80 miles a day one way at freeway speeds. Very little stop and go traffic. My concern this has been present since about 20,000 miles . I am currently at 28,000 miles. Toyota customer service said there is no warrantee and this is normal operating conditions. I am very familiar with cars and this is unsafe. My concern is it is getting progressively worse and know the kind of driving I do there is likely a vehicle has inferior parts or the vehicle braking system is not adequate.

The 8 speed transmission sometimes hard shifts to a different gear randomly. Happened total of 4 times while cruising. During Low speed, when press the gas let go and gas immediately again causes the car to jerk and the transmission shifts hard in stop and go traffic. The transmission also making the engine rpm fluctuate when applying gas every time. rpm would go up then drops back down when gas is applied. All this happened with in the time ive owned it. Had the dealer check it out. But the technician said there isn't anything wrong with it. But the jerky transmission says otherwise. also the car hunts for gears when using cruise control. Thats a problem because it cant figure out what gear it wants to be in. It would continue until i turn off adaptive cruise control. I happens a few times not too often.

I woke up to my car on fire and Toyota is saying they don’t know what happened but they’re also saying it wasn’t their fault I’ve never seen a brand new car just randomly set on fire and then nobody really look for any answers I just put brand new tires on the car the day before it burnt up I’m currently behind on my car payments because of the financial strain this whole situation put me in because on top of a divorce I wasn’t prepared to go and buy another car I’ve just stopped living in my current car and got an apartment because of the financial strain that this is caused and I wasn’t given any kind of reimbursement or assistance even with the tires that I just bought I feel like Toyota knows something that they’re not telling me and I deserve to be compensated

While driving my Tesla equipped with Autopilot/Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, I experienced an unexpected and abrupt braking event. A vehicle had entered the center turn lane and had already cleared my lane, posing no obstruction to my path. Despite this, my Tesla suddenly applied the brakes without warning, causing a rapid deceleration that could have led to a rear-end collision had another vehicle been following closely. There were no visible hazards, warning messages, or alerts prior to the braking. The incident occurred in clear daylight conditions on a dry road, and the vehicle in the center turn lane was stationary or turning away from my lane. This appears to be a case of phantom braking, possibly due to misclassification of the adjacent vehicle or overcautious object detection by the vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This issue has occurred more than once in similar scenarios, and I believe it poses a serious safety risk. I have not yet had the issue inspected by Tesla or a service center, but I am submitting this report to raise awareness and request investigation into the reliability of Tesla’s braking logic in these situations.

OKC Tesla Service Center replaced the steering wheel due to delamination over the weekend. The car was dropped off on Friday the 4th of September 2026. I picked the car up on Monday the 7th. On Wednesday the 9th after getting on the highway and getting up to speed the steering wheel came out of the steering column and was physically disconnected from the car. I was able to temporarily get it back into place enough to get the car to a save location to be towed.

I was driving with plenty of distance between me and the car in front of me. The car in front of me had stopped and the Automatic Emergency Braking System on my car went on. Thankfully, there was no car behind me, otherwise, I would have been hit. The sudden stopping has caused me significant lower back pain.

I am filing an official safety complaint regarding a severe, premature failure of the front lower suspension system on my 2023 Tesla Model 3. While operating the vehicle, the front lower compliance links (Part numbers: 2188359-10-B, 2188354-10-B) and the lower lateral links (Part number: 1044341-00-G) suffered critical mechanical bushing degradation and structural wear, rendering the front suspension unsafe and compromised.This mechanical breakdown occurred at only 63,584 miles on a three-year-old vehicle under completely normal, standard highway and suburban driving conditions. There has been absolutely no external impact, wheel strike, curb strike, or collision to explain a simultaneous, symmetrical breakdown of multiple heavy suspension components on both the left and right sides of the vehicle. My tires show zero sidewall damage and the wheels have no structural bends, proving the issue is an inherent component lifecycle defect rather than a road hazard.This issue directly correlates with NHTSA Preliminary Evaluation PE26006, which investigates nearly 1.2 million Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles for front lower lateral and compliance link failures. When seeking service, Tesla Service Center personnel attempted to classify this wear due to structural degradation but deny warranty or goodwill coverage. This component vulnerability represents an acute safety risk, as a total failure or detachment of these specific lower links while traveling at high speeds could cause a catastrophic, immediate loss of steering control. I request that the NHTSA include this vehicle in its ongoing investigation to push for a mandatory safety recall.

1. The Hybrid Battery , yes, Jeep is at dealer since 3/12/25. After daily calls to get updates, including voicemails and emails to service rep and Manager several times, Finally was advised on 3/25/26 (13 days) that it needs the part and will be at least 4-6 weeks more, no loaner, no info, nothing else was provided other then to call Jeep cares to file a complaint--you can imagine how that went---they referred me back to the dealer but did open a complaint/ 2. was advised car could go on fire at any time, thank God I was not driving it at the time. 3. seems its a known common problem and current recall. 4. Inspected by Rockland jeep dealer and still sitting there. 5. no warning signs prior to car not starting. car is a lease and the lease expires prior to getting the car back, I called chrysler leasing and they directed me to call the dealer, called Jeep cares and they advised still waiting on rental authorization so I can get a rental car (which I would have to pay for and trust they will reimburse me- after all this, I do not trust them) , also they said to call the dealer after opening up a case. Bottom line, I am 16 days in , with 4-6 weeks to go with no car, no options as of this claim. I pay 700 a month for this lease and I will be out 2 months---I just asked them to extend it for the 2 months on them or keep the Jeep, Chrysler advised again to call dealer as they cannot do any of that. The dealer not advising me for 2 weeks what ( per Jeep cares) takes 10 minutes to diagnose, not providing a loaner after a week calling for one. I do not know what to do other then start to call lemon law attys?

Parked my 2023 Wrangler 4xe for about three hours. When I started driving again the brake pedal was hard and it took way longer than normal to stop. No warning lights, no codes on the OBD reader. Toggling max regen on and off made no difference. Power cycling the vehicle didn’t fix it. Pads are warm so the calipers are engaging, but there’s very little stopping force behind them. I would guess there is an electrical issue with the regenerative breaking system or brake vacuum.

I am the original owner of a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sport with approximately 16,240 miles. The vehicle is completely unmodified. I am reporting a serious safety defect involving the steering and suspension system. When driving at highway speeds (50 mph and above), the vehicle experiences a violent front‑end oscillation whenever it encounters a bump, uneven pavement, or bridge expansion joints. The steering wheel rapidly shakes left to right, and the entire vehicle shudders for 5 to 10 seconds. The oscillation does not stop until I slow the vehicle down to below 45 mph. This issue is reproducible and occurs frequently on rough or uneven road surfaces at highway speeds. During these events, I temporarily lose the ability to maintain proper steering control, creating a dangerous situation for myself, my passengers, and other drivers. This condition is commonly referred to as “Death Wobble,” and it makes the vehicle unsafe to operate. Given the severity of this defect and the safety risk it poses, I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue and that Jeep/Stellantis address the defect under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (3‑year/36,000‑mile basic warranty). The front‑end suspension components—including the track bar, steering damper, ball joints, and related parts—should be inspected and repaired as necessary to eliminate this hazardous oscillation.

Vehicle went into “limp mode” as I was entering an intersection. Pressed accelerator to the floor and vehicle would only sputter and crawl slowly. Vehicle towed to dealership. My safety and the safety of others was put at risk as the vehicle, without warning, essentially stalled while driving. If there were other vehicles on the roadway, this could have easily caused an an accident with injuries or worse. Yes the problem was comfirmed by the dealership. Yes the vehicle has been inspected by the dealer and manufacturer engineer. Dealership reports high voltage battery needs replacement. Dealership states that they cannot guarantee this won’t happen again even after battery is replaced. Check engine light was illuminated.

While driving at 40 mph experienced sudden unexpected braking (car on its own) without driver pressing brake and no immediate car in front or changing lanes or any other noticeable object in immediate path. It was dangerous and could have caused a rear end collision. luckily it was 40mph no cars too close behind and our infants were not in the car. please look into this further

The contact owns a 2023 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, several warning lights remained illuminated, including the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), power steering, and check engine warning lights. Additionally, the steering wheel became difficult to turn in either direction. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering rack needed replacement. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 48,000.

Vehicle was brought in for steering gearbox recall repair. After the recall was performed, the vehicle developed a loud thumping noise from the front passenger side. Upon returning to the dealer for diagnosis, the dealer found the passenger front wheel was missing 3 lug nuts and had only 1 lug nut holding the wheel on. The lug lock was also loose. The vehicle was driven at highway speeds in this condition. The dealer's own work order confirms these findings. The missing lug nuts were a direct result of the recall repair service.

I was driving my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid on the [XXX] on Sunday, XXX. 5 minutes prior to reaching the interchange where the [XXX] connects to the [XXX], all of the lights on my dashboard flash on, but the car was still running. I got onto the [XXX] and prior to reaching the [XXX] exit, my car suddenly stops accelerating at full power. As I push on the accelerator, I can barely move my car. I pull over to the side of the highway and put my car in park. Quietly panicking (not to stress out my [XXX] old who was sleeping in the backseat), I put my car back in drive and see that I can slowly move forward. I get back onto the freeway and exit via the [XXX] exit. There is a park right there so I slowly circled around until I found a spot to park my car. I called AAA and they came and tested my battery and said there weren't any issues. They advised me not to drive my car anymore and called a tow, and brought my car to the Honda Dealership back near me home 45 minutes away. The dealership was closed, but they called me on Monday and said they would need to diagnose my car. I preferred that my mechanic take care of my car, so I had my car towed there instead. The issue he diagnosed is provided in the screenshots: "P2101 Electric Throttle Control System (ECTS) Malfunction". Both my mechanic and I looked online and there seems to be an open investigation into this (NHTSA ID 11556108) and when you look online, there are MANY other owners complaining about the same thing happening, some with much less miles on their car than mine. There is clearly an issue and something needs to be done. Having your car all of a sudden slow down drastically while driving on an extremely busy [XXX] highway with a [XXX] in your backseat was terrifying. Please investigate this further, I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this with the same model of car. The windshield has a haze that appears to reduce visibility when it’s raining. I have also noticed little cracks in the windshield with no known incidents of debris hitting the windshield. I’ve only had this vehicle for 3 months

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 25 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and extended to the floor while depressed. Additionally, the engine started to rev before the vehicle momentarily experienced unintended acceleration. The contact stated that the failure occurred for approximately 25 seconds before the brake pedal and engine operated normally. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,000.

The contact owned a 2023 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while stopped at the red traffic light with her disabled daughter sitting in the rear driver's side seat, the vehicle lurched forward abruptly and hit the rear of another occupied vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle was damaged. The front driver's side and front passenger's side air bags, and unknown rear air bags exploded while deploying. Additionally, there was smoke coming from the steering wheel and the steering wheel was significantly hot. The contact stated that both her and her disabled daughter were unable to exit the vehicle because the air bags were obstructing. A bystander assisted the contact and her daughter out of the vehicle. The contact sustained soreness on the neck and the buttocks, and a swollen left knee and left ankle. The contact's daughter sustained a laceration on the neck and neck pain. Both the contact and her daughter received medical assistance. The contact was unsure whether the other driver sustained any injuries. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, where it was totaled. A police report was filed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

After filling my tank of gas (not overfilling), and parking the car overnight in the cold. I have gas that leaks out of my gas tank onto my garage floor. I reported this to the Dealership where I purchased on Feb 20, 2023 with photos. I have the car at Toyota Muscatine today 12/12/23 and they have been unable to replicate and are not sure what to fix since there is no current recall notice. I've sent both places photos now.

During driving, Tesla car spontaneously stated multiple active safety features and regenerative braking were no longer available and stopped working during driving with multiple warnings appearing. Driver safety at risk during this as well as others safety due to the lack of functioning. The car was taken to Tesla service center and was explained that front lower lateral suspension links were damaged by "impact" although the car was never in an impact or accident preventing proper alignment and functioning of the car. The part has been since repaired and currently undergoing further investigation for warranty dispute.

Due to the manual locks being looked at as a safety issue, I went and looked at the REAR door manual release for our Model 3. We also have a 2023 Model Y and I know they have a rear door release, as stupid as the location is, it is there. Well to my surprise, there is NO MANUAL REAR DOOR RELEASE in the model 3!!! How is this even safe? You're supposed to crawl through the front seats and go out the front door? Or even worse, fold the seats down and exit through the trunk? What happens if you're stuck in the back, can't get your seatbelt off? What if you are incapacitated?? What if you get rear ended and then pushed into the car in front of you and it makes it so the front doors are unable to be opened? (this happens quite often) What if the car rolls over, is upside down and you can't get to the front? There are a million situations that make a rear manual door release necessary. How does this even pass safety inspection??? How do you (as a department) even allow this to be acceptable. How are children supposed to do this? This has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of and here I am, driving my kids every day around in it. They should be required to either retrofit it with a release that's accessible or replace the rear doors with an accessible release. I'm just in awe as to the failures here.

I was horrified to read of the deaths of three beautiful California girls in a Tesla Cyber Truck, that was involved in a crash, was on fire, and the electrical system malfunctioned resulting in them not being able to get out of the car. Tragically, they burned to death.(Recall too [XXX] ' incident as well as other incidents). I went to search the Internet for Model 3 (2023) to see if there were manual overrides in the event of crash/fire/electrical malfunction (even if related to dead battery) and found a You tube video (NOT information provided by Tesla mind you) that showed that on the front seats, there should be a lever not far from the door handle that you can pull to activate a manual release of the door. In the video, they said 'models' are different as to the rear seats but there 'should be' a lever. I could not find any manual override for the back seat passengers. So, I drove to the Tesla Dealer/Service department to have them show me how to activate the manual override for back seat passengers. The technician admitted that in many Teslas, including mine, THERE WAS NO SUCH CAPABILITY!! He admitted Tesla was acutely aware, they do not prioritize safety and that the back seat passengers would be stuck. He agreed that it will take a major class actions and major fines, and/or jury verdicts for them to do anything about it. Appalling and not acceptable. I would request that NHTSA mandate that all Teslas (probably models before 2025) lacking the device necessary to allow passengers to escape death due to failed electrical system be recalled to modify the car at Tesla's expense to comply with the reasonable expectations of consumers. This is a major design defect, unreasonably dangerous and presents a very real threat to the consumers who have no knowledge of the defect, much less where to look for the override (if it exists) because that information is not provided when you purchase the car. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed on the third floor of a parking garage, the vehicle suddenly accelerated to full speed unintendedly, and the steering wheel and the brake pedal were inoperable, causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a wall and crashed into the vehicle in front, and the vehicle stopped. No further information was available. No warning lights were illuminated. The front driver's side air bag deployed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot and was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. A police report was filed. There was no injury sustained. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 66,000.

I own a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe (VIN: 1C4JJXR66PW627097). The instrument cluster/dashboard intermittently shuts off while driving, resulting in complete loss of speedometer, warning indicators, and critical driver information. This creates a significant safety hazard, as I am unable to monitor vehicle speed or receive warnings while the vehicle is in motion. In January 2026, I took the vehicle to the dealership for this same issue. The instrument cluster was repaired under warranty/customer satisfaction repair. However, the exact same problem has now returned. My vehicle is not currently included in Recall 30B, but the symptoms are consistent with that recall involving instrument cluster failure. I am concerned that this defect may affect additional vehicles not currently covered. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue and consider expanding Recall 30B to include vehicles like mine. Vehicle dropped off at the McGovern Chrysler Jeep dealership in Newton, MA on March 31, complete transmission failure, vehicle has active recall 25V-741 and resolved recalls including 25V-766 (engine sand contamination affecting propulsion).

Jeep has only 10K miles on it, Was on Highway and Started to violently shake, went to side of road it stopped and then once driving started again. Death Wobble

I own a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sahara 4xe (VIN [XXX], plug-in hybrid). Since new, this vehicle has had repeated electrical and high-voltage (HV) hybrid battery system failures. About eight months after purchase, at approximately 6,590 miles, the vehicle lost power and would not restart in a parking lot ("Service Charging System" warning) and had to be towed to the dealer (Repair Order #[XXX], 10/18/2023–10/20/2023); a 12V battery failure was diagnosed. On February 9–10, 2026, the dealer performed Recall Campaign 68C (JL/WL PHEV HV Battery) on this vehicle — a software/module update to the BPCM, HCP, AHCP, PCM, TCM, and IDCM, plus an HV battery diagnostic analysis (Repair Order #[XXX]). On [XXX], at approximately 22,692 miles, the check engine light illuminated and the dealer diagnosed a hybrid (HV) battery failure. The manufacturer (Stellantis/FCA US LLC) subsequently opened a warranty case (#[XXX]) and a lemon-law repurchase case (#[XXX]), confirming the vehicle could not be repaired and offering repurchase or $15,000 cash compensation. As of this filing, the vehicle remains at the dealership, out of service, well past the dealer's own promised repair completion date. Across its ownership, this vehicle has been out of service for HV-battery- and electrical-system-related repairs for a documented cumulative total of approximately 50 days. I am filing this report because a vehicle losing propulsion/electrical power unexpectedly, and a manufacturer needing to run an HV battery software recall campaign on this same vehicle only six months before a full HV battery failure, both raise safety concerns beyond an ordinary warranty repair, and I want this pattern on record in case other owners of this model are experiencing the same failures. the moon roof shattered as we were driving. luckily the inner sun shade was pulled. Crazy to have tempered glass above you. we could have not had that cover closed and glass could have rained down on us.

In early August 2025, driving on the highway with my car behaving entirely normally, my entire dashboard lit up-- all error lights, check engine, transmission, emissions, blind spot- everything. After reading on the internet a bit i read that there could have been a 12v battery power surge, and to disconnect and reconnect the battery. All lights cleared, car behaved normally. During the last week of August, my car began revving unreasonably high on a long drive (at the 300 mile point) and it seemed as though gears were slipping- I was hitting the gas to accelerate and the car was not accelerating equally. This is a huge safety concern- particularly when going uphill on a highway and the car can just barely make it up the hill (i'm basically flooring the gas) and also a safety concern when switching lanes- the power is not there. I went to the dealer immediately after this. The dealer ran error codes and found none (as no lights returned). The dealer checked my spark plugs and said they were worn and replaced them (which is unreasonable at 21,000 miles). The problem was not resolved. I have since gone to two additional Honda dealers and both told me there is nothing wrong with the car- because no error codes appeared. I believe these problems are related to the eCVT as others have reported, and believe that the recall needs to be expanded.

Battery overheats and emits visible smoke from positive terminal and strong sulfur (rotten egg) odor. Notices the problem a few days ago. Called AAA for assistance on Sunday August 23 and technician stated that a lot of Hondas have had this issue including his own and it is due to a recall. A search online shows a recall issued for approximately 98 2023 Honda crv hybrids for Electrical system: Propulsion system: Traction battery date 2024-10-02 Recall no. 24V745000 Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles. The high voltage battery modules may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the battery terminal or busbar to break and spark.

The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,900.

I bought this set of tires new from Sams Club on 10/28/2023. On 12/16/2023 a TPMS warning light came on so I added air. Then three days the light came on and I added air again, and so on, and so on until 12/28/2023 I took it back to Sams Club and they replaced the tire with another tire of the same brand and type, and said it was a manufacturing defect. About a month later on 1/31/2024 the TPMS light came back on, so I added air and took it back to Sams Club to have it checked. They said it had a "hole" and they fixed it and put it back on. Then on 2/27/2024 the TPMS light came on and I added air and soaped all the tires and the same tire was leaking around the rim, and another tire on the rear driver side was bubbling around the rim. I compared the pictures to verify that the leaks were on different locations on the wheel, but the same location on the tire. In total, I've had three of these tires leak around the rim; two from the set I purchased on 10/28/2023, and one that they put on 12/28/2023 to replace the first tire that leaked. I spoke with a manager at Sams Club this morning and they're replacing the set with a different brand that matches what came with the car from the factory. I have pictures of all three leaks, and the last two tire codes.

When it rains and when I have my car wash. Water appears on the right side rear passenger floor. About 1/2 inch. The first time I reported hearing water and brought the car to Manhattan Beach Toyota. I was told they did not find anything. When I had my car washed the next few times I lifted up the rear passenger fllor mat and noticed the area was soaking wet. . I brought the 2023 Camry to the dealership on 3/4/24. To have it checked. I'm waiting to hear the results if the findings over the next day or two. I bought the car 7/19/23 a used with 2629 miles and it now has 8098 miles. .

The Tesla ran a red light on two separate occasions while in full self driving mode. The first time it went through without me being able to intervene. Given it had done it before, the second time I was able to stop it. Both times occurred at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] . It has not done it at other intersections. On August 7th, 2025 at around 8 AM in the morning, my vehicles mobile phone car key was in-operable and I was unable to get in the car which led me to trouble shoot how to fix this issue with the car. Upon researching I was directed by Tesla to directly complete a soft reset of the vehicle holding down both buttons on the vehicle once I was inside, and pushing on the brake pedal. Upon completion, my vehicle booted up and I realized that all camera systems were down, my navigation systems were down, my safety features were down, my auto pilot, lane keeping assist and auto brake were down, sensors were down and I was no longer able to pre heat my battery to charge my vehicle due to issues with the navigation. I then took the vehicle to Tesla Service Center Irvine where a service advisor quoted me 2900 for a new ECU and Bolts and told me that I needed to replace my whole unit and that I was to cover the cost of the repair even though my vehicle is only 2 years of age and this failure is due to the quality control and software of the vehicle. I have been driving around a vehicle with absolutely no safety features whatsoever such as no cameras, sensors, auto braking, or full self driving due to this ECU failure and I fear for my safety and well being while driving this car.

On 8/24/2026 at approximately 12:02pm, my 2023 Model 3 was parked in my assigned space in a covered apartment carport, with a concrete support pillar approximately one to two feet from the passenger side. I entered a destination and activated FSD (Supervised) from Park, a Tesla-designed feature. Vehicle telemetry recorded in the dashcam clips shows FSD shifted into Drive, activated the right turn signal, turned the steering wheel to near full right lock, and accelerated to 3 mph, contacting the pillar with the passenger mirror and front door approximately 1.5 seconds after first movement. No accelerator or brake input was recorded from me before the collision. I applied the brake within one second of the impact beginning, and FSD disengaged. The pillar was within view of the vehicle's side cameras throughout. No warning was given. Damage to the passenger door; no injuries. Dashcam video with telemetry overlay and photos available.

On XXX at around 3:30 PM EST, I was driving my 2023 Tesla Model 3 on [XXX] about 10 miles outside of [XXX]. I had the adaptive cruise control set at 75 mph. I was driving in the right lane of the two available lanes of travel in that direction. I noticed an unattended car on the right shoulder about a 1/4 mile up the road and continued my drive as normal. The car was at least 5' to 6' off the highway. As i got about 30 yards from the car, my car suddenly slammed on the brakes automatically, which forced me to react in a corrective manner. Thankfully there was nobody behind me or the severity of the braking would have likely caused a rear end collision. To my understanding, this phantom braking is a known issue with Teslas, so I wanted to document my experience to add to the record. I was traveling in the right lane on I-75 at approximately 70 miles an hour, and my Wrangler completely lost all power and began to suddenly decelerate in traffic. I lost all acceleration ability, power brakes, and power steering. I immediately had to change lanes and exit the highway onto the shoulder while trying to avoid other vehicles all while struggling to steer and brake.

Battery pack replacement twice and engine replacement this jeep had problems right after I got it new been in the shop 12 times over and over again they can not get it right

This vehicle is subject to two open NHTSA fire-risk recalls. The remedies provided so far have not corrected the underlying defects. Recall 25V-741 (Safety Recall 95B/68C), high-voltage battery fire risk: On 1/9-20/2025, dealer reprogrammed BPCM and TCM software only (Invoice #52682); no parts replaced; mileage 18,680. On 1/6-7/2026 - one year later - the dealer performed a SECOND remedy for the SAME recall: reprogrammed BPCM, AHCP/HCP, and PCM software only (Invoice #61639); no parts replaced; mileage 31,553-31,561. Reprogramming the same modules twice within 12 months for the same fire-risk recall, with no battery hardware ever replaced, indicates the first remedy failed to correct the defect. The recall notice describes battery pack replacement as a possible remedy "if needed," but this has never been performed. Recall 26V363000 (issued 6/4/2026), EPS pump wiring fire risk: On 7/10/2026, dealer inspected the power steering pump harness connector only (Invoice #66268, "Safety Recall 21D"); no parts replaced; mileage 36,871-36,874. Across 3 remedy visits spanning both recalls, only software reprogramming or connector inspection was performed - zero hardware parts replaced. This pattern indicates the fire-risk defects remain uncorrected. Requesting NHTSA review the adequacy of these recall remedies.

Vehicle left me stranded in the middle of an intersection XXX due to high voltage battery failure. Vehicle was totally inoperable. This is the second time the battery has failed. First battery replacement was XXX. Also serviced XXX for battery issues. Vehicle had to be towed to the dealership, date unknown when battery will arrive for replacement. I'm now left with a vehicle that will have zero value for resale. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle and cannot consider driving the Jeep for a long distance. My car has been making noises and no checks engine light for about 4 weeks now. It has started on October 19, 2025 and tomorrow will make 1 month. The noise starts when I press the brakes and when I drive. When merging on highways the car would delay start when I press the gas and then it’ll jump or stutter twice before moving which is dangerous because I’m merging on to highways. I’ve been to several shops and they’ve all told me it’s the transmission and I will need a complete new one. I continued driving my car because I have no way getting to and from work and today November 15, 2025, it broke down while on the highway with my daughter and husband in the car. I had to wait for my car to decide to start moving while others behind me swerved into the other lane because of the sudden stop all while hoping no one would crash into us. It turned on and we were able to move off to the side slowly and again it shut off. The check engine light finally came on and when the tow truck came the guy inspected the vehicle and said what everyone else said there is a transmission problem and it popped up and said something about the transmission and the brake system. As far as the brakes the mechanics said the brake hardware is rubbing against the rotor on the front left side and I can’t brake hard while driving or it’ll make a loud noise or a hard sudden stop. I have to press lightly and way ahead of time so that I don’t run into any issues. When searching online I saw that 2023 Honda Crvs do have transmission problems and it’s happened to several others. The sudden stops, noises, and complete replacement of their transmission. Plenty of others had it covered by warranty but what about the others that don’t have warranty. I have not replaced my transmission as of yet because the mechanics I usually go to is closed on weekends so I will be waiting until Monday. This is dangerous and crazy and Honda needs to do a major recall before someone actually gets hurt.

MY 2023 Honda CRV sport hybrid has an issue, I guess it’s transmission. When I go for long drives, after driving an hour or hour an half in highway, it seemed like, transmission stuck. Even though I escalated my gas pedal and car is on around 50mph, the car speed doesn’t go up even though rpm is hitting on 75 to 80. It’s dangerous to drive in highway where speed limit is 65 mph and my car is going 50 mph. I went to dealer but they can’t figure out the issue. I face same issue in multiple times.

The windshield wipers do not clear the windshield completely and the reversing point for the drivers side wiper is inconsistent, leaving a wide uncleared gap of varying widths. Honda dealership says this is normal and will no repair the wipers.

I own a 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5L turbo. My vehicle has repeatedly displayed an “Active Grille Shutter System Problem” warning while driving. Diagnostic trouble code P16E8 has also been associated with the active grille shutter system. The problem has occurred multiple times, particularly during hot weather and while driving on steep grades. When the active grille shutter warning occurs, the vehicle can go into reduced-power mode, significantly limiting its performance. Turning the vehicle off and restarting it may temporarily clear the warning and restore normal operation, but the problem can return. The vehicle has not been overheating when this occurs. I am concerned because unexpectedly entering reduced-power mode while driving, especially on a highway or steep grade, could create a safety hazard. I am reporting this issue so NHTSA can document and investigate whether there is a recurring defect involving the active grille shutter system on 2023 Honda CR-V vehicles and determine whether a safety recall or other action is warranted.

I noticed water in my car , mostly on the passenger side ( rear about 1/2 of water ) smell . Under all floor mats but mostly the rear passenger floor . I was told later 3/5/24, that’s it’s the evaporator tube . It is clogged by Spider webs and has caused extensive damage and mold in my car. It’s about $16,329.00 of damages.

With the car on, and wanting to take off, I pressed the accelerator pedal and there was a several second delayed reaction in throttle response/car movement. The car eventually started to move. This is the 3rd time I have went to push the gas pedal and the car did not immediately respond. There are no check engine or other warning lights on the dashboard. This is a huge safety issue as one time I went to pull out and the car acceleration did not respond almost causing an accident. I have not yet taken the car to the dealership but plan to soon. The last time I took the car to the dealer they said they would charge me, even if the vehicle is in warranty period, if they did not find anything therefore discouraging such items from being reported/further investigated. The first event was quite some time ago but the last 2 have happended in the last 30 days with the 3rd being 4.13.24.

I HAD IT REPLACED AND NOW IT IS LEAKING AND TOYOTA REFUSES TO REPAIR IT

235/45R18 94V. Hankook Kinergy GT While driving at 40-50 mph driver rear tire split between the sidewall and the treads, completely. It split was most of the way around (240 degrees) and there was no connection left between the sidewall and the treads. Needless to say pressure wax zero. Car does monitor tire pressure and prior to the deflation no indication of a problem was noted. The car is only 10 months old with about 16000 miles on them, and the tires were supposed to be rotated by the dealer every 5-6,000 miles, which we requested.

In a wreck the car does not have emergency door handles for the back doors if the power shuts off. This is a MAJOR safety issue.

While driving, the side mirrors closed and the doors locked by themselves. Then, the front trunk opened, the rear trunk opened, and when I opened the door, the headlights turned on and the front trunk opened again. When I opened the door another time, the side mirrors didn’t unfold, and the headlights started blinking. At high speeds (over 50 mph), I hear a ticking or metal-clanking sound, which is really scary. The car seems to be acting on its own, following some strange “manual” or behavior pattern. I feel unsafe driving it.

The vehicle’s brakes did not work, automatic emergency brakes and collision warning both did not work. I pressed on the brake for about 5 seconds but the brakes did not work, resulting in a collision with the car in front. Everything is available for inspection if needed. Both my safety and the driver of the vehicle in front of me was at risk. The problem has not been confirmed yet. The vehicle is currently at a shop, waiting inspection. There were no warning lamps, messages, or symptoms.

During a major car accident the airbags for my Tesla, Model 3, 2023 did not deploy airbags although other impacted cars had full airbags deployed. This posed a risk to my safety as a driver due to not having the proper equipment deployed during a major accident. This was noticed by the emergency personnel on the scene who stated that based on my impact the airbags should have been activated from my collision. According to the safety records associated with my car to date there are no safety reports regarding the airbags for my car. There was no warning of my airbags not being able to be fully functioning at the time of impact. This incident happened on November 1st and is in the process of being investigated by the Harris County sheriff's department.
