DJI Air 3S

DJI Air 3S developed hot front motors and Rotor Overloaded warnings; an authorized center replaced all four motors and the gimbal under warranty. On the first flight after that unused repair period, the aircraft leaned, fell, smelled of burnt electronics, and a motor popped from the arm. Service later cited ESC/power issues while DJI attributed the crash to obstacles and contamination.

Owner of a nearly new DJI Air 3S with roughly 8.27 flight hours reports a sudden mid-air motor failure while flying in Sport mode over a lake. Controller logs show a critical motor-idle error, followed by loss of control and a fall into the water from about 100 m; flight-log video was posted as evidence.
