Despite the display being switched OFF and the screen being black, the bikes electrical system remains "live." The throttle, horn, and lights continue to function while the bike is supposedly powered down. This creates a "Ghost Power" scenario where the motor can engage without the rider's knowledge that the system is active. Additionally, the front motor has experienced a catastrophic internal failure (Error Code 14), causing the hub to seize and preventing the bike from being moved in reverse. Description of the Incident & Injury: The incident occurred while I was performing routine maintenance (adjusting the chain and gears) at a campsite. I had physically switched the bike's display to the OFF position to ensure the motor would not engage. While my hands were near the drivetrain, the motor suddenly engaged. Because the "Ghost Power" defect kept the throttle active despite the bike being switched off, my fingers were caught and pinched by the moving components.
