Incident: On September 18th 8:06PM a fire occurred in my garage caused by a defective SafPow 42V 2A Battery Charger. The charger was connected to electric scooter and malfunctioned, resulting in a thermal runaway event that led to a fire. The incident caused significant property damage, personal injury, and financial losses. Sequence of Events: 1. Fire Origin: The SafPow 42V 2A Battery Charger was actively charging the [REDACTED] electric scooter at the time of the incident. The charger overheated and caused the scooter's battery to ignite, resulting in a rapidly spreading fire. 2.
