Product: Amazon Kindle (I have photos--your system won't upload them) A00810 (Amazon Kindle chager wire). Incident: I reported once and the computer froze up when I tried to upload photos. This is a report of a potential fire/shock hazard from an Amazon Kindle e-reader's recharging wire whose plastic coating crumbled, exposing the bare electric wire. This is about the 6th time I've tried to file this report--your system freezes my computer when I try to upload photos, then when you save, it bounces you back to the beginning to start over all again. Your system is very frustrating and probably loses many filings. If the federal government can't do something as simple as this, how can you expect the government to take over our health care system???? After I file here I will contact UL, a private organization that will probably do a much better job. This will be a good test to see who responds first. This is taking up so much time. Anyway...
