Incident: On August 18, 2026, the device experienced severe internal lithium-ion battery swelling, resulting in noticeable physical expansion and casing separation. The technicians formally verified that the battery was severely swollen and stated that under Google protocol, walk-in repair was refused, returning the hazardous device to the consumer while initiating an Advanced Exchange RMA (Case ID: [REDACTED]).
