SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20210224-C77D2-2147365683. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Bissell Crosswave model 1785 (Bissell Crosswave model 1785). Incident: Purchased a Bissell Crosswave (model 1785) in Dec of 2017. Had numerous problems with 1st machine, including giving me a small, stray electric shock when touching the revolving floor brush with machine plugged in, even though the machine was turned off. As soon as I shut it off I could hear a crackling sound coming from the lower part of the machine- the housing for the spinning floor brush. I then immediately unplugged the machine! A few minutes later after the crackling noise had stopped I removed the clear brush cover to check the spinning floor brush. Not only was the floor br
