Electrical rating listed as 30A, 125/250V, maximum wattage 7500W. It has a NEMA 10-30P male plug and NEMA 10-30R female receptacle. The Amazon listing states the cord is STW, blue, male-to-female, with PVC case material. The listing says it is sold by CircleCord and ships from Amazon Fulfillment.). Incident: I am reporting a potentially unsafe electrical product. The product was a CircleCord 3 Prong 25FT Dryer/EV Extension Cord, 30 Amp NEMA 10-30P/R, rated 125V/250V, STW 10 Gauge. It was used as an extension cord for a 3-prong dryer/EV charging type connection. During normal use, the plug prongs became melted/deformed. I discovered the damage after the product had been used in a normal household setting. The melting appears to be an electrical overheating failure and a potential fire hazard. I stopped using the product immediately after discovering the melted prongs. No one was injured, and I am not aware of property damage beyond the damaged/melted plug prongs, but the condition could have caused a fire or electrical injury if it had continued to be used. The product was purchased on Amazon. It was sold by CircleCord and shipped/fulfilled by Amazon. I attempted to obtain support through Amazon. Amazon directed me to the manufacturer website, but the manufacturer website/support page was unreachable. Amazon then directed me to Buyer-Seller Messaging, but the messaging system redirected me back to Amazon because Amazon handled fulfillment for the order. I have photos showing the melted prongs.
