SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20140520-8CF7E-2147444357. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FFHS2622MSJ. Source model text: FFHS2622MS. Incident: We own a Frigidaire Refrigerator Model Number FFHS2622MS. Tonight we noticed smoke coming from the back of the refrigerator and pulled the refrigerator out from the wall and noticed that there were small flames coming from the bottom of the refrigerator. We unplugged the refrigerator and and the flames were extinguished. Luckily we were home and noticed the smoke filled kitchen before any major damage was caused. Minimal damage was done to our wood floors as a waxy substance dripped onto the floor from the fire melting some plastic on the refrigerator.

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20171024-FF170-2147396540. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FFHS2622MSJ. Incident: A week ago Saturday my daugther called and said something in the house is on fire. She reported thick clouds of smoke so I turn around head back home. I unplugged all the sockets in the house except for my kitchen. I could still see the clouds of smoke rising to the ceiling. So we heard this clicking noise and could see flames coming from behind the fridge. I pulled the fridge away from the wall and unplugged it. The flame went down. I called my fire dept to make sure there was no fire inside my calls. Thank God someone was home. I called Frigidaire that next monday. The rep stated there was no recall or complaints with model FFHS622MSJ

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200618-796A5-2147371625. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Frigidaire FFHS2622MSJ (Frigidaire 25.6 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator). Incident: While cleaning side by side refrigerator with a water and [REDACTED} dampened cloth, water drained down a hole that is supposed to be sealed by this silicon type material. 5 mins after cleaning smoke started coming from under the fridge. After further investigation and I discovered that the hole that is supposed to be sealed sits right on top of a electrical component called the compressor. A small amount of water dripped down onto the compressor and ignited a fire. This hole is where the water dispenser lines come up through the bottom of the fridge. After all was said and done I thought to myself that this could happen to anyone just cleaning this type of refrigerator. I have video and pictures of my findings. I've contacted Electrolux and I haven't received any response. Frigidaire FFHS2622MSJ
