SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20191224-78474-2147375839. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Frigidaire GLEB30S9FBC (Black Electric Wall Oven). Incident: This is an electric wall oven: Frigidaire model # GLEB30S9FBC. Serial #. NF845087891. It was installed on 12/6/2008 It has worked fine up until today. We put it through a 3 hour cleaning cycle. At the end of the cycle, it cooled off for a short while. Then error F90 flashed on the input pad. Looking at the manual, it said to hit cancel and then reprogram when an F error occurred. We duly hit the cancel button, and then attempted to open the oven door. The entire glass front of the oven door suddenly exploded and shattered into many, many small pieces. The explosion spewed pieces of glass as far as 10 feet from the oven. Fortunately, there were no small children around and no one was hurt. However, I feel this is a very dangerous occurrence. If this happens to others, the risk of injury is quite high. I am also attempting to contact Frigidaire about this issue. I
