SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200929-25764-2147369489. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: NEX Grill 720-0830H (NEX Grill Model 720-0830H Free standing bbq grill with two-door propane tank compartment, single burner on the side, stainless steel HDU720KSIA0830H 110005D). Incident: I am appalled to do some research that back in 2005 Home Depot recalled this exact some grill that my husband was using that nearly blow up his face or possibly caught my house on fire. The same thing that it was being recalled for was happening to my husbands grill. I purchased the grill about two years ago for my husband as a father's day gift. The grill has given him nothing but trouble. The hose that connects the propane tank kept coming off. On September 28th my husband went to start the grill and the flame was low so he went under where the propane tank is and seen that the hose unconnected. He tried connecting the hose back to the tank, when the tank caught fire nearly singeing his eyebrows, eye lashes, beard and arm hairs. Thank GOD he didn't catch on fire nor catching my house on fire. Please DO NOT try to send a replacement kit, AS WE WILL NEVER BUY A NEX GRILL AGAIN.
