Incident: My wife and I went to Home Depot here in the [REDACTED], Georgia area and purchased a new Samsung double gas oven in October 2019. Shortly after the item was delivered and installed in our kitchen we noticed a couple of issues that we reported immediately (same day as delivery) to Samsung using the hotline provided by Samsung. We finally got Samsung to get a technician to come to our residence and inspect our oven however it was clear to us that while the technician was performing his checks the person he was speaking to was brow beating him in order to convince him that the issues he was observing and measuring were �normal and acceptable� for this oven. It became immediately clear to us that Samsung wasn�t going to admit that it�s product had both a cooking issue but a potentially dangerous burn or fire potential as well. According to the technician, Samsung allows a heat range of +/- 30 degrees to the actual temperature you set on the oven through the display panel, we feel this is unacceptable and causes food to either get charred or undercooked. The second item is the tremendous heat escaping from the oven and heating up the rear of the stove top underneath the electrical display panel and measured at 244 degrees! This can potentially cause a fire or severe burn and will obviously cause the electrical panel to experience issues at some point. We asked the Samsung customer service representative to please refund our purchase and remove the oven as we no longer want this potentially dangerous oven in our home and so far Samsung is denying that this is an issue.
