Samsung microwave purchased at Costco for about $500 stopped working just over 90 days after purchase. Outside Costco’s return window. Samsung warranty offered repair only; technician found the mounting screw contacted and damaged the control board even though the factory screw was installed correctly in the designed slot. Samsung then refused to cover the repair, blaming the owner. Design places the board where a correctly installed factory screw can short it.
