Incident: While gently hand-washing a gifted to me IKEA UPPHETTA French Press Coffee Maker, I suffered a sudden, traumatic injury that changed my life. The fact that such a severe injury could occur during normal cleaning of a product that appeared safe and undamaged is deeply alarming. This French Press poses a hidden design danger, and consumers deserve to be protected.
