New Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 bought May 2026; after ~3 months (only ~6 weeks actual use) a hinge pop led to the left hinge pulling the bezel, then a metal plate popped out and cracked the screen. Lenovo called it an accident and wanted paid repair; lid no longer closes.
