New Honda CB200X bought March 2024 from a Bangalore showroom developed engine noise and water/condensation in the digital meter. After being left at the dealer for a week, the engine was reported seized at only about 3,600 km despite on-time servicing. Warranty would cover a 35,000–40,000 INR repair but the owner was asked for about 2,500 INR out of pocket; Honda customer care gave unsatisfactory answers about replacement policy.
