U7 Pro Max access point purchased for about $400 CAD died after a couple of months of basic home use: unit was extremely hot, fan at full speed, no LEDs, and would not recover after reboot, factory reset, recovery flash, cool-down, or alternate PoE power. Support walked through the same steps then required a warranty RMA with owner-paid insured shipping and temporary replacement hardware costs.
