Ryzen 7 9800X3D purchased February 17, 2026 worked about six months on an ASUS TUF GAMING B850-E WIFI with the latest stable BIOS, then entered sleep and never woke. System would not POST with DRAM error LED; CPU failed in another AM5 board while the original motherboard worked with a different CPU. Owner was sending the CPU for warranty service.
