Owner complaint summary

This car is a PHEV. I experienced a drivetrain malfunction warning noted on instrument display. Vehicle states it can continue to be driven “moderately” with reduced drivetrain output. This is similar to an incident recently in which the instrument cluster stopped working following a drivetrain warning on the instrument cluster. Dealer has not yet diagnosed this latest problem but for the previous issue states it is due to high voltage battery not being fully charged when driving but does not acknowledge any faults with the system.

This is an owner complaint filed with NHTSA (ODI #11573839). It is not automatically an official recall, investigation outcome, or manufacturer admission unless the complaint text itself describes one.
