The contact owns a 2019 Acura MDX. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, the rear tailgate lid light failed to illuminate as designed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the rear tailgate lid lighting assembly was faulty due to water intrusion and that the assembly needed to be replaced.
