Owner complaint summary

The backup camera system malfunctioned, resulting in a blank or distorted display screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse. This system failure deprives the driver of rear visibility and disables the rear parking collision warning, creating a safety hazard when backing up. I previously brought the vehicle to an authorized Chrysler dealership while under factory warranty specifically to report this backup camera failure, but the dealership noted they "could not duplicate" the problem at that time. The camera was later replaced, but the same defect has reoccurred. Mopar portal records confirm the dealership service visits, and the vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

This is an owner complaint filed with NHTSA (ODI #11753341). It is not automatically an official recall, investigation outcome, or manufacturer admission unless the complaint text itself describes one.
