The contact owns a 2022 BMW X3. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle hesitated while starting. After several attempts, the vehicle started. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent, and the vehicle was eventually parked out of fear that the vehicle would no longer start. The contact retrieved a fault code associated with the starter. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V438000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 46,000.
