Owner complaint summary

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the transmission was slipping while parking or driving the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle lagged on the expressway and failed to accelerate to the intended speed. The local dealer was contacted but stated that the technician only at the dealer once per week and the dealer was 2–3 weeks behind schedule. An independent mechanic was contacted and diagnosed the vehicle with transmission failure. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and made aware of the failure but stated that there were no warranties or programs available for the transmission failure. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000.
