SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20110505-BA64C-2147479476. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Craftsman 917-286450. Source model text: 917.275010. Incident: Gas tank leaking. Sears/Craftsman Garden Tractor model 917.275010, purchased 4/02. No previous problems, but when put into operation for the 2011 season, gas immediately started to leak out of the tank. Have not taken the tractor apart to get to the tank yet to determine the location of the leak, but it is on the right side of the tank. The tank is located beneath the seat, in the rear of the tractor. The leak is profuse, rendering the tractor unusable.
