Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20110701-AA584-2147477648. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Uppababy 2017 Uppababy Cruz. Model Number 0417-CRZ-US. Source model text: G-Lite. Incident: The right rear latch slides under the plastic piece below it allowing the stroller to collapse while in movement with child secured in place. This has occurred 3x in the less than 1 week I have owned this stroller. I have found multiple reviews listed online where the same problem has occured with other people with this model of stroller. Regardless of how many times you press down the foot pedal to click and lock open the stroller in place, the latch fails to catch in place and creates an imminent danger of collapsing with the child during movement.
