Source model text: Elite Quiet Pack Dryer HE 5 /110.97087601. Incident: Our Kenmore Elite HE5 Dryer is appx 3 years old and today it began smoking and making our clothes smell burnt. My husband took the whole dryer apart to look for burnt lint or wires and we could not find anything but something is definitely burning. Our whole house smells like a fire and I do not know if the smell will ever come out of the clothes. I am afraid to use the dryer until we can get someone out here to look at it.
