Incident: Started my morning pot of coffee, went downstairs to get the newspaper. When I came back into the house there was a bad smell of something burning , went back inside the Kitchen and saw the Mr.Coffee Maker (Model:DRX5) (Date Code:D6 XO21) billowing smoke from the bottom of the maker, I unpluged the maker and it continued to smolder for a short time after. I have owned this maker for a few years and have had no problems with it until today. I just wanted to let you know what had happened.
