Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20111115-AB59B-2147473308. Matched catalog product: Kenmore Kenmore model 110.27062600. Source model text: 110.78062801. Incident: I own a Kenmore Elite Oasis ST gas dryer that I purchased from Sears in 2008. On Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2011 my dryer started having a burning smell again. I say again because back in March of this year I had a lint fire in the back of this same dryer. I unplugged it and called my independent repairman. He confirmed that it was the lint that was burning again. [REDACTED] told both my mother and myself that this was the WORST lint collection design he has seen. He also told me that the fan was very poor as well. He has been in the repair business for over 40 years.
