Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20111228-136BA-2147471955. Matched catalog product: Samsung Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Model SM-T230NU. Source model text: FTQ387WGX. Incident: In the summer of 2010 I purchased a Samsung convection range, model FTQ387LWGX. In August (or may be Sept ) of 2011 while cooking on the stove I noticed an electrical burning odor and smoke coming from the back of the range and then one of the burners stopped working. I cantacted Samsung and a technician came and found that the wires to the control knob had burned through. He replaced them. Yesterday 12/27., The same thing happened with the same knob and burner. I am VERY concerned that this issue will cause a fire or electrcal shock and am concerned that others with this same range may experience the same problem. Below is the email I sent to SAMSUNG a few minutes ago.
