Incident: The consumer stated that on Saturday March 3, 2012 his TV in his restaurant was smoking. The consumer owns a restaurant and has five of these identical TVs mounted on the walls in the establishment. The consumer came into work on the morning in question and the TV was on for roughly an hour. The consumer saw that the TV began smoking from the back panel. Initially, the TV screen was flickering and then suddenly went black. The consumer ran over and unplugged the TV and soon after the smoking stopped. The consumer went to the retailer that same morning and explained he had an incident happen with an identical TV two days prior. The consumer was told that the retailer could not help him. The consumer mentioned that no one was harmed or injured and did not have to call the fire department. The consumer also stated that he has not called his property insurance company. The consumer stated that there is no property damage in the restaurant. Upon inspection of the TV it appears that there was a power failure that caused the incident.
