SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20120320-AB935-2147469125. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Kenmore 795.77563600. Incident: Interior light on my refrigerator does not turn off. The heat from the light melted the plastic housing causing it to melt. Some parts were discolored from the heat. If this continued a while longer a fire was a definite possibilty. The bulbs were too hot to touch and all the food on the top shelf was hot.this started on 03-19-2012 .
