SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20120523-77584-2147467333. Matched catalog product: Samsung Samsung 65' S-Series Ultra HD Smart Tv. Incident: Base of smart tv was detached and stored in laundry room when it exploded in the middle of the night. It had not been attached to the tv for at least 9 months. Glass everywhere . Large pieces and tiny schards. If it had been attached to the tv and someone had been watching it, they would have been terribly injured.
