Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20120813-AA43B-2147464815. Matched catalog product: Weber Spirit. Source model text: Weber Spirit Grill. Incident: Our weber grill (spirit) caught on fire. The fire destroyed the control knobs and the lines from the propane gas to the control knobs. Thankfully, we saw the fire and immediately took the propane gas away and contained the fire. The grill was turned off but the propane gas was not. We are not sure what caused the fire but it could have been out of control if we were not in the immediate area to douse the fire. We only had the grill for two years and used it at least an average of two times during the summer months.
