Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20130102-1408E-2147460361. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cuisinart CCO-50BKN Deluxe Electric Can Opener. Source model text: Griddler model GR-4N. Incident: We have owned the Cuisinart Griddler for a few years. The cooking plates are removable for cleaning, and can be reversed. The clips that hold the plates on seem to have lost their integrity, the upper plate fell off several times when the top was lifted during its last use, causing a serious burn hazard had I been flipping the food that was on the cooking surface.
