Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20130110-2C662-2147460002. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Kenmore 796.29002000. Source model text: 29002000. Incident: My washer continues to easily become unbalanced with any large load or small load with an article that becomes heavy when wet. For example a bedspread for a kingsized bed may require an adjustment on my part to rebalance the load two or three times to get through a wash cycle. The same thing happens with a small load if there is a shirt that retains a lot of water that one article will cause the entire load of five or six items to become unbalanced multiple times during the wash cycle. It will cause the shaking noise or stop the wash cycle. This has happened too many times to count and until I saw the recall I thought this was SOP for this type of washing machine.
