Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20130514-35ED0-2147456128. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Hoover UH70120. Incident: My son (17 year old) was vacuuming this afternoon when the unit started to "smell like fire". He unplugged it and it burned his hand. I called Hoover and they said this unit was NOT recalled but many of the same model are with the same issue. This model needs to be added to that list immediately!
