SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20130622-2BE3C-2147454960. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Shark S3501. Incident: I put water in my steam mop and plugged it in. Usually it starts steaming within a minute or two. It didn't this time. I got closer to see if I could hear it. Then all of a sudden the mop head blew off across the floor and then the steam came out. I was not hurt but felt that the product was unsafe to use.
