Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20131118-D6E5E-2147449815. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Amana AGR 3311 WDW (Amana 4.4 Cubic Foot Gas Range). Incident: THIS IS THE 5TH TIME THAT I'M TRYING TO SEND THIS REPORT -- YOUR WEBSITE LOCKS UP AND KICKS US OUT EACH TIME WE TRY TO UPLOAD THE PHOTO --- SO LET'S START AGAIN !!! Good Afternoon. My name is [REDACTED] of [REDACTED] / [REDACTED]. I purchased a brand-new gas range from the Home Depot on November 11, 2013 by ordering it ONLINE. The gas range is an Amana 4.4 cubic foot range in white, and was on sale for $298. I paid $340 in total for taxes, delivery, installation and haul-away of the old range. Grates are the large "black iron" things that you set your pots and pans on with the fire buring beneath. Grates need to be manufactured WITH ROUGH TRACTION ... in such a way that the pots and pans DO NOT SLIDE OFF the stove-top. This model, however, does NOT provide SAFE TRACTION. Hysterically, the grates are COATED WITH PORCELAIN ... which makes the grates SO SLIPPERY ... that an pot with boiling liquid can SLIDE OFF the stove with just the SLIGHTED nudge. Try to picture a porcelain vase ... it's smooth, shiny and slippery. Well, that's what they've coated the grates with !!! Last Friday I was boiling water to make mashed potatoes. I poured the potato flakes into the pot with one hand and stirred the boiling water with the other. I've done
