Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20140225-FCD6C-2147446937. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: LG LG Gas range, Model LDG4313BD. Source model text: LRG3095ST. Incident: Knobs on LG gas range have become loose. The inside of the knobs are made of plastic, which cracks soon after purchase. The defects tend to occur when the gas range is being turned on; therefore, it makes turns on the gas but stops short of lighting it on fire. This is a major safety hazard as it allows gas to leak.
