Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20140330-C477C-2147445916. Matched catalog product: Apple Ipad. Incident: My iPad "lighting cable" melted last night. I keep the cord plugged into the Apple charging adapter (which plugs into 120V at the wall) at all times. I leave the smaller end lying on the table next to the iPad so I can quickly plug it to the iPad each night.
