Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20140901-77F5D-2147441340. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire Model Number FCRG3052BS. Source model text: FDL50S1. Incident: I purchased this dehumidifier new and it has always been very hot when operating. It usually feels more like a heater than a dehumidifier. I usually turn it off or put it outside to cool off. On August 26th was the first time I noticed that it smelled like plastic burning and smoke. However, my date of manufacture is 1 month outside the recall range.
