Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20141015-0B0F1-2147440036. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Craftsman 917-286450. Source model text: 917.275042 and 917.273201. Incident: I own two Craftsman garden tractors that both contain the same fuel tank #151346. I have noticed that both of them have been smelling like fuel for a while and now are clearly leaking gas. I removed the tanks and both of them have numerous cracks at the seams that extend out into the tank. These tanks are fully enclosed and padded. I did not know if they had been recalled or not, but I wanted to see what could be done. Not only were the mowers very expensive, but both breaking the same and causing a fire hazard can't be by chance. Thanks for your time and help.
