Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20141030-B625F-2147439373. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cuisinart TOB-40. Incident: Purchased a Cuisinart TOB-40 Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler August 29, 2011. About two and a half years after purchase noticed that the bottom heating element was warped and cracking. Continued to use it until now, when I became concerned about safety. Looked it up online and discovered that MANY, MANY users have had the element crack, on both the first unit and the warranty replacement. I believe the unit should be recalled.
