Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20150122-5B3B8-2147436184. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Sears Sears Kenmore Elite Washer Model #11031633611. Incident: Kenmore Elite range short circuited and caused smoked and sparks to come out of the back of the range. Ran to move the range and disconnect it from the power source to prevent the wall from catching fire or further damage. This occurred without warning and am very concerned had we not been honest could have been a lot worse. After it cooled I removed the back panel an several connectors had been completely burned and even the back panel had burn marks.
